In Tangenvika, Innlandet, a double-tracked railway bridge that connects Espa and Tangenhalvøya in Stange municipality is currently being built. The 1070-meter bridge will be the longest railway bridge ever built in Norway. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027 and will be carried out with the least possible impact on the environment in and around Mjøsa.
Welmax Pipe Welding AS has delivered welding work (Sub Arc Welding and MIG/MAG) on the piles, a project that has run from August 2023 to October 2024.

Reduced physical exposure, automation of repetitive and stressful work and accuracy and precision, are some of the benefits that can be reaped through such technological use. In this way, the need for entry, and exposure of personnel to perform this type of work, can be reduced.
